The first & foremost ideal of Zeta Ωmega is the pursuit of academic knowledge. The primary goal of each Brother is the attainment of a college education. Each member has an obligation to maintain a sound academic record.  This is an obligation that he owes to his family, his Brothers, the Fraternity and himself. Since it’s conception, Zeta Ωmega has emphasized scholarship and academic excellence. Initiation into and participation in the fraternity is dependent upon maintaining a respectful scholastic average. Therefore, throughout your college career, the pursuit of academic endeavors should be continued diligently. 

Zeta Ωmega is a Brotherhood of Gentlemen. One of the basics tenets of the fraternity is that Brothers conduct themselves in a respectful manner at all times. Members should be gentlemen at all times, particularly in conduct, manners, dress, morals, & speech. Ungentlemanly activity should be avoided, so as not to bring shame to oneself or the Fraternity. Keep in mind, you are a part of a large organization, therefore, everything you do reflects not only on you but also on Zeta Ωmega as a whole. 

Each Fraternity is a business that is dependent on each member for existence. Each individual, from New Member to Chapter President, must meet his own financial obligation in a prompt and timely manner, or the success of the chapter could be jeopardized. The fraternity clearly states that any member who fails to honor his financial obligations promptly can be expelled from the Fraternity. 

Being a part of a fraternity requires accountability in your attendance to events and weekly meetings. We start to learn the benefits of having all members present at events to show each other support. 

Zeta Ωmega strongly believes in the chivalrous acts of men towards women. Being established on the beliefs of being respectable gentleman we strive to be known as men who respect and honor women.

The last but surely NOT the least important standard to the Zeta Ωmega Fraternity is the participation in the community service and philanthropy events. We as a Fraternity believe in giving back to the community and those in need. Zeta Ωmega as a whole has a minimum requirement of community service hours that must be obtained each semester.
